Brainerd police

ASSAULT - Responded to a report of a physical domestic assault at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at a residence on the 400 block of Southeast 17th Street. No arrest was made but the case was forwarded to the Crow Wing County attorney's office for consideration of felony domestic assault by strangulation, terroristic threats, domestic assault and disorderly conduct charges against a 46-year-old man.

ARREST - Received a report at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday of a man inside a burned out house on the 400 block of B Street. Officers located the 34-year-old man on the second floor and arrested him on six active warrants. It was reported later that the man had walked away from the CARE treatment program at the state hospital, 11600 Stave Ave.

Arrested a 43-year-old woman for huffing after responding at 7 p.m. Wednesday to a residence on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast for a welfare check.

BURGLARY - Rosemary Feriancek on Thursday reported Anderson Cleaners, 416 S. Eighth St., had been broken into.

CRASH - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 1:33 p.m. Wednesday at Washington and North Sixth streets.

THEFT - Lori Tverberg, 400 block of Southeast 17th Street, Thursday reported a theft.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Elissa Gallien, 600 block of North 10th Street, Wednesday reported a small hole in a window on her vehicle that appeared to have been caused by a pellet or BB gun.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT - Received a report at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday of three calves lose on the 13000 block of Thompson Road. A deputy herded the calves back into the fence and the owner was advised of needed fence repairs.

Joseph Micek, 19000 block of Anna Drive, Wednesday reported a dog attacked and bit him while he was walking.

THEFT - A gas drive-off of $20 was reported Wednesday at the Corner Store and More, 19000 Highway 18 in Nokay Lake Township.

Lois DeRosier, 9800 block of Crescent Bay Road, Wednesday reported the theft of a gas-powered weed trimmer.

Danial Gott on Wednesday reported the theft of DVDs from his vehicle while it was parked on the 21000 block of Train Bell Road.

Talitha Blue, 10000 block of Depot Street, Wednesday reported the theft of a bike.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Wesley Ellis, 29000 block of Crow Wing County Road 1, Wednesday reported someone tore the gate down and stole camping items from the property next door.

CRASH - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 7:26 a.m. Wednesday on the 15000 block of Dellwood Drive. One of the drivers, a 50-year-old man, was arrested on a Cass County warrant.
