LOCAL BRIEFS Jenkins VFW sponsoring traveling memorial
JENKINS - The Jenkins VFW Post No. 3839 is sponsoring the American Veterans Traveling Wall, an 80-percent replica of the Vietnam Wall in Washington as well as 9/11 victims and other displays.
The wall will be erected about 6 p.m. Sept. 19 with viewing starting Sept. 20-23. There will be a special ceremony at 11 a.m. on Sept. 22. Participation will include area color guards and a local representative from the local recruiting office.
BWW reopens after electrical problems
BAXTER - Buffalo Wild Wings reopened for business Tuesday after what manager Cassie Hayes said was an electrical problem.
The restaurant had closed Monday after the Brainerd Fire Department received multiple calls because of a problem with the heating ventilation and air-conditioning system.
