Wade Hollingsworth, Miss Motschenbacher and Lula Andresen of Wendy's were chosen for honors in the Brainerd Area Chamber of Commerce mystery shopper program.

Dave Hansen, Cathy Kotula, Todd Lyscio and Doug Rosnau, all of Brainerd, were among 144 select high school students from Minnesota who participated in the 1977 All-State Band.

Tommy Scott's Hollywood Hillbilly and International Folk Singers stage show will be at the Washington High School Auditorium Monday. The event is sponsored by the Eagles Lodge of Brainerd.

Brainerd and vicinity sweltered under 100-degree temperatures yesterday and the heat continued in the 90-degree brackets far into the night. It was the hottest day of the season.

One may travel for miles and not find a spot that will beat Lum Park for natural beauty. It has all the conveniences one may look for at a resort. Clean grounds, pure cool drinking water, swimming beach, lockers, etc.
