Lauren Johnson, Brainerd, received the Community of Learners Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2009-2010 academic year. Johnson, daughter of Dave and Shelly Johnson, graduated from Brainerd High School and plans to attend UND in the fall.
Machele Michels, Motley, was named to Riverland Community College's spring president's list.
