Corrections
A Page 1A story in Thursday's Dispatch should have stated that in an Open Forum letter submitted to the Dispatch, Jeff Czeczok said since 2000 Mayor James Wallin was issued $13,792 in checks for reimbursement from the general fund and the mayor's contingency fund, with $8,719 issued without actual receipts.
The story also should have stated that Wallin said he stopped turning in receipts in 2005 after council member Bob Olson requested copies of the receipts as they were turned in; and that in March, Olson had requested copies of the mayor's receipts since 2000.
The Dispatch regrets the error.
