ASSAULT - Arrested an 18-year-old man for second-degree assault and reckless discharge of a gun following a complaint at 2:52 p.m. Sunday at South Fifth and Quince streets. A juvenile also faces charges of reckless discharge of a firearm and disorderly conduct.

ARREST - Arrested a 18-year-old man for probation violation on a charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct after receiving a report of possible criminal sexual conduct at 7:15 a.m. Sunday an apartment on the 600 block of West College Drive.

THEFT - A theft of was reported Monday at Brainerd Carefree Living, 2723 Oak St.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Susan Caird, 900 block of South 10th Street, Saturday reported someone backed into her fence.

INVESTIGATION - Received a call at 11:23 p.m. Sunday from parents on Rush Lake Court whose children were drinking Saturday. The parents wanted the individuals who provided alcohol charged with contributing. The information was forwarded to an investigator.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a collision at 3:42 p.m. Sunday at Highway 371 and Clearwater Road.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle, rear-end collision at 11:38 a.m. Sunday at Highway 371 and Excelsior Road.

WELFARE CHECK - Received a request at 6:35 p.m. Saturday to do a welfare check on a 4-year-old girl at a residence on the 6000 block of Woida Road where a party was occurring. An officer went to the residence and learned there was a birthday party. The officer didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

THEFT - Diane Streiff, 6000 block of Austin Road, Friday reported pills stolen from her vehicle.

Clark Johnson, 7000 block of Clearwater Road, Friday reported the theft of a camera from his vehicle.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Mary Fletcher, 7000 block of Glory Road, Friday reported damage to her property.

FIRE - Received a report of a tree on fire at 1:41 a.m. Friday in the parking lot of Bremer Bank, 7558 Design Drive. The tree was struck by lightning. The Brainerd Fire Department was advised and later canceled due to the rain putting the fire out.

THEFT - Shawn Pikula, 8000 block of Golden Pond Drive, on Sunday reported a winch and bicycle stolen.

A gas drive off was reported at 4:40 p.m. Saturday from Holiday Station in Garrison.

A gas drive off was reported at 12:29 p.m. Saturday from Lake Country Foods and Gas, 40327 Highway 6 in Emily.

A gas drive-off of $48.24 was reported at 2:55 p.m. Friday from Lake Country Foods and Gas in Emily.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Phillip Gaffney, 20000 block of Monroe Street in Garrison, at 1:36 a.m. Sunday reported catching three boys spooking around the Fry Daddy's tent.

ARRESTS - Arrested a 23-year-old man for terroristic threats, third-degree refusal to test, fourth-degree DWI and possession of drug paraphernalia; and a 32-year-old man for second-degree DWI, slow/no wake violation and careless watercraft operation following an incident at 7:31 p.m. Saturday on Rush Lake in Crosslake.

SEARCH WARRANT - The Lakes Area Drug Investigation Division at 7:10 p.m. Saturday executed a search warrant on an indoor marijuana grow at an undisclosed residence in Brainerd.

PUBLIC ASSIST - Received a report at 3:11 a.m. Saturday of a woman waiving her arms at passing vehicle on Thiesse Road. A deputy located the woman crying on the side of the road. The woman said she had injured her foot/ankle. The woman gave the deputy a false name and was cited for the offense. She was given a ride home after being checked out by North Ambulance.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Sheila Carlson, 20000 block of Hawks Road in Deerwood, Friday reported someone spray painted her horses.
