Sharon K. Grunwald
STAPLES - Sharon Kay (Sharie Weishalla) Grunwald passed away July 25, 2009, at Lakewood Health System, Staples, Minn. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Staples. Friends are welcome to gather beginning at 2 p.m. at the chapel. Interment will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery at Staples.
She was born July 23, 1965, in Wadena, Minn., the daughter of Jerome (Jerry) and Lillian (Holub) Weishalla. She was presently employed at Ernie's Food Market the past six years. Prior to that she was employed at Ultra Color.
In her pastime, she loved to read most any type of novels, do some gardening and canning, go camping and do some fishing, and she also loved the weekly TV show "The Closer."
She leaves behind three children, Justin Grunwald (fiancee Alyssa Scharver), Amy Grunwald and Cassy Grunwald, all of Staples, Minn.; five sisters, Bonnie Whitkop, Barb (Dennis) Dahl, Beverly Hahn, Carol (Kevin) Tabery, and Patty (Lou) Dirkes; two brothers, Jerry (Connie) Pribbenow, Lynn (Tracy) Weischalla; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts; uncles; brother-in-law; and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Staples.
