Baxter police
ARRESTS - Arrested a 19-year-old man for second-degree assault and terroristic threats at 1145 p.m. Sunday at Wal-Mart Supercenter, 7295 Glory Road, after it was reported a man allegedly brandished a weapon in the parking lot. Brainerd Police officers and Crow Wing County Sheriff's deputies assisted.

Received a report at 12:58 p.m. Friday from a group home on the 13000 block of Birch Drive of a missing vulnerable adult. Officers located the 26-year-old man at the Crow Wing County Fair. The man was transported back to the group home, where he was arrested for fleeing a peace officer.

THEFT - Brandi Theien, 10000 block of Cypress Drive, Sunday reported her keys stolen.

Sherry Wright on Saturday reported a bike stolen from in front of Best Buy, 14555 Edgewood Drive.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Chris Long on Sunday reported his vehicle was damaged on the 10000 block of Edgewood Drive.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 6:24 p.m. Saturday at Highways 210 and 371.

DISTURBANCE - Responded to a report of a family dispute at 4:21 p.m. Saturday on the 10000 block of Audubon Way. Police were informed a man was not welcome at the party and the man left when requested to do so by police. As he was leaving the man had chest pains and was transported by North Ambulance to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

INVESTIGATION - Received a report at 12:25 a.m. Saturday of a man dressed in camouflage stumbling around on the 10000 block of Forestview Drive. Officers were unable to locate the man.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT - A man on the 100 block of Belle Rae Circle at 3:39 a.m. Monday requested officers to assist him in removing a bat from his residence. Officers checked the residence but were unable to locate the bat.

ODOR COMPLAINT - A woman on the 1000 block of Norwood Street on Friday reported a stinky odor in the area. An officer advised the woman that the smell likely was from a garbage truck next to her garage that was picking up the trash.

ARRESTS - Responded to a report of a personal injury vehicle crash at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at North Fourth and Charles streets. The driver reportedly passed out and crashed into trees. Upon arrival officers arrested the driver, a 42-year-old woman, for third-degree DWI-inhaling hazardous substance.

Officers were dispatched at 10:09 a.m. Saturday to a residence on the 600 block of James Street to a disturbance over a male trying to collect a debt owed. The 56-year-old man was arrested for terroristic threats.

Received a request for a welfare check on a possibly passed out drive at 6:04 p.m. Friday at Southeast 13th and Wright streets. The driver, a 47-year-old man, was arrested for second-degree DWI.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 11:47 a.m. Sunday ay North Ninth and Washington streets.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 10:25 a.m. Friday at South Eighth and Oak streets.

INVESTIGATION - Received a call from the State Patrol at 6:09 p.m. Saturday of a 10- to 12-year-old boy with duct tape across his mouth inside a vehicle in east Brainerd. An officer checked at the residence of the registered owner of the vehicle on the 100 block of Southeast 12th Street, who said his two sons placed duct tape over their mouths as part of a challenge game. Officers confirmed the scenario with the two sons.

Received a complaint at 5:43 p.m. Friday of two small children left unattended in a vehicle at Cub Foods, 417 Eighth Ave. N.E. An officer located the father, who admitted his kids had been sleeping and he didn't want to wake them. The officer advised the father of the complaint and consequences for leaving children unattended in a vehicle. The father stated it wouldn't happen again.

THEFTS - Matthew Larson and Andrew Gunderson on Friday reported the theft of fishing equipment from a vehicle parked on the 500 block of West College Drive.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 5:14 p.m. Sunday Red Pine Road and Oak Hollow Road.

No injuries were reported after a sheriff's squad struck a deer at 2:35 a.m. Sunday at Golf Course Drive and Woida Road in Baxter.

No injuries were reported after a car struck a deer at 7:13 a.m. Saturday at Crow Wing County Road 3 and Wise Road.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a deer at 9:57 p.m. Friday at Wise Road and Gregory Way.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Mark Scott on Sunday reported his vehicle was damaged by some type of cable laying across the road at Crow Wing County Road 103, west of West Shore Drive.

THEFTS - Received a report of a gas drive off Sunday at the Holiday Station in Garrison, 27390 Highway 169.

Lindsey Robeck, Crow Wing County Road 3 and Bass Lake Road, Sunday reported a theft.

Received a report of a theft at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds.

Teresa Swanson, 12000 block of Highway 6, Saturday reported a theft.

WATER COMPLAINT - Received a report at 2:54 a.m. Sunday of a boat going in circles in the middle of Dolney Lake in Fairfield Township, south of Emily. A deputy and Crosslake Police officers arrived and found a pontoon had been blown into shore. The operator of the pontoon stated he was unable to keep the motor running. The operator had been drinking but not over the limit and did not appear impaired. The boat was left on shore and the drive was given a ride back to the residence he was staying at.

PUBLIC ASSIST -Received a report at 12:43 a.m. Sunday from a woman who was dropped off in the middle of Highway 169 at Crow Wing County Road 138 and was needing help. A deputy arrived and found the woman talking to her boyfriend and another man. The woman was extremely intoxicated. She was offered a ride by the deputy to a motel or a ride back to her house by her boyfriend. She chose to go with her boyfriend. At the residence, the woman again became agitated and called 911. She was taken by a deputy to detox.

INDECENT CONDUCT - A Mille Lacs Reservation tribal officer at 8:25 p.m. Saturday reported encountering a nude man on the 7400 block of Highway 169. Deputies spoke with the man and witnesses, who said the man was wrapped in a towel walking to the lake and the wind blew the towel off.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT - Received a report of an alarm at 11:17 p.m. Friday at a residence on the 17000 block of Emerald Lane in Emily. The residence appeared secured. The deputy observed a bat flying in the basement and advised the homeowner.

ARREST - Arrested a 32-year-old man for fifth-degree possession/sale of a controlled substance at 9:48 p.m. Friday at the Crow Wing County Fair, 10116 Thiesse Road.
