Gillette Children's mobile outreach clinic to arrive Wednesday
The Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare from St. Paul is planning to have its Mobile Outreach Clinic in Brainerd in August and September.
The Mobile Outreach Clinic is a truck stocked with equipment needed to repair, modify, measure or take models for all types of equipment to help someone with a disability work, learn, play or live more easily, Gillette reports.
Clinics are staffed with experienced professionals and are open to patients of all ages.
The clinic will be at the Brainerd Medical Center on South Sixth Street on Wednesday with a nurse practitioner for orthotics, seating.
The mobile clinic will be at BMC on Aug. 27 with a nurse practitioner for orthotics. Additional dates are Sept. 10 with a physician, orthotics and on Sept. 24 with a nurse practitioner, orthotics.
