ST. CLOUD - Chad Campbell, the 39-year-old man hospitalized after being punched in the head last week in downtown Brainerd, remained in critical condition Monday at St. Cloud Hospital.
The man accused of punching Campbell, Bradley Thomas Lewis, 25, Brainerd, was charged Friday with felony first-degree assault resulting in great bodily harm and third-degree assault resulting in substantial bodily harm.
Court records stated that Campbell suffered extensive frontal/temporal lobe brain damage and was on a ventilator in the intensive care unit at St. Cloud Hospital.
