EXTRA CREDIT
Micah Gustafson, son of Greg and Shelia Gustafson, Andrew Goll, son of Steve and Renae Goll, Christopher Handlos, son of Gary and Jan Handlos, all of Baxter, Tyler Blong, son of John and Michelle Blong, and Suzette Dahlman, daughter of Kevin and Sheila Dahlman, all of Brainerd, and Ben Urness, son of Mark and Shelli Urness, Nisswa, received the Outstanding High School Leadership Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2009-2010 academic year. The students plan to attend UND in the fall.
Jonathan Long, son of Caron and Jeff Long, Brainerd, received the Elizabeth J. Larimore and Sadie P. Mathews Transfer Student Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2009-2010 academic year. He attended Central Lakes College and plans to attend UND in the fall.
The Northland College Athletic Program has announced that Sam Stanfield, Deerwood, will be attending Northland College in the fall of 2009. Stanfield, who attends Crosby-Ironton High School, will continue her athletic career as she plans to compete in both volleyball and basketball at the collegiate level.
