Pequot Lakes opens with three wins GIRLS' TENNIS
PIERZ - Three Pequot Lakes individuals and one doubles team went unbeaten as the Patriots opened the season Friday with three victories in the Pierz quadrangular.
Pequot Lakes individuals who went unbeaten in three singles matches included Megan Lenz at No. 1 singles, Angela Villella at No. 2 and Cori Lundmark at No. 3.
The No. 2 Pequot Lakes doubles team of Nicci Hedtke-Claire Erholtz was 3-0 along with Katie Anderson of Detroit Lakes at No. 4 singles.
