DELANO - Brainerd's Brianna Rademacher was runner-up at No. 4 singles and the Warriors finished fourth in the eight-team Delano Invite Thursday.
"It was a good day of tennis," Warriors coach Ellen Fussy said. "I think I found some answers to some questions with doubles. I was pleased with the showing. We still have a lot to work on but it's early."
Brainerd's Mikinzee Salo and Mackala Headlee finished third at No. 2 and 3 singles. Taylor Headlee was fifth at No. 1. Three Warriors doubles teams finished fourth and another was sixth.
Staples-Motley placed fifth. The Cardinals' No. 1 doubles team of Skye Coughlin-Emma Koskiniemi won the title. Abby Edin was runner-up at No. 1 singles.
