Senate candidate Franken to be at Baxter Labor Day picnic on Monday
BAXTER - U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken will attend the Labor Day Picnic on Monday in Baxter. The 5 to 6 p.m. picnic, which has been titled Solidarity Day 2008, is sponsored by Brainerd Trades and Labor. The picnic will be at conducted at Oscar Kristofferson Park in Baxter.
**CORRECTION**
The Brainerd Dispatch incorrectly listed the time of a Labor Day picnic where U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken will speak as the result of misinformation supplied to the Dispatch by the Franken campaign. The picnic, sponsored by the Brainerd Trades and Labor Union, will be from noon to 6 p.m. Monday at Oscar Kristofferson Park in Baxter. Franken will speak at about 5:30 p.m.
