The following items are considered non-controversial by staff and are recommended to be read and passed in one motion. Any council person, staff, citizen, or meeting attendee can request one or more items be pulled from the Consent Agenda and the item will be pulled and addressed immediately after the passage of the Consent Agenda; otherwise, the following items will be passed in one motion:

A. Approve council minutes of Aug. 18.

B. Payment of bills and approval of finance report

C. Accept Utilities Commission minutes of Aug. 19.

1. Approve the Anderson Brothers Construction for Option No. 1 of Shouldering and Seeding in the amount of $28,392.37.

2. Approve the Kuechle Underground, Inc. Partial Pay Estimate No. 5 for the 2008 South Perch Lake Area Improvements in the amount of $26,884.85.

D. Accept Parks and Recreation Commission minutes of Aug. 24.

E. Accept Long Range Planning Commission minutes of Aug. 25.

F. Approve the State of Minnesota Materials Management Division's Purchasing Venture

G. Approve the removal of the Public Works Dept. 1998 Chevrolet pickup from the City fleet and direct staff to place the pickup on the State of Minnesota Dept. of Administration Surplus Services for sale

H. Schedule a tall grass abatement hearing for Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. and direct staff to notify the affected property owners and/or occupants per Section 4-4-6E of the City Code

I. Accept the $250 donation from the Brainerd Jaycees to be used for the K9 vest purchase

J. Accept the $50 donation from Denise Kaiser for Baxter Parks and Recreation
