The Brainerd Dispatch incorrectly listed the time of a Labor Day picnic where U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken will speak as a result of misinformation provided to the Dispatch by the Franken campaign. The picnic, sponsored by the Brainerd Trades and Labor Union, will be from noon to 6 p.m. Monday at Oscar Kristofferson Park in Baxter. Franken will speak at about 5:30 p.m.
The Dispatch regrets the error.
