Plethora of pop can tabs
Dennis Rhode (left), west Brainerd McDonald's store operator; Faye Brown, Worthy Matron; and Glenn Brown, Worthy Patron of the Alpha Chapter No. 23 Order of the Eastern Star, poured Tuesday some of the 59 buckets of pop can tabs into containers. The yearlong project to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House was organized for several years by Dorothy Carlson, who died this spring.
