Scandia Valley man drowns in Fish Trap Lake
A 75-year-old Scandia Valley man drowned Friday in Fish Trap Lake in northern Morrison County.

The drowning was reported to the Morrison County Sheriff's Department about 8:30 p.m. The 1,174 acre Fish Trap Lake is located just off Highway 10 north of Cushing and near Lake Alexander.

The victim was identified as Bruce Tower Sr. The sheriff's department reported boaters had responded to calls for help and assisted in recovering Tower, started CPR and moved Tower to the public access on Fish Trap Lake, where he was pronounced dead.

Responding with deputies were Scandia Valley first responders, Gold Cross Ambulance and North Air Care.
