Coleman announces $1.3 million for Tri-County Hospital in Wadena
WADENA - Tri-County Hospital, Inc., in Wadena has received a $1,314,000 Community Facility Direct Loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Program. The purpose of the loan is to expand the hospital's outpatient treatment space and to purchase related equipment.
Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., announced the loan last week, stating that access to health care is always identified as one of the top concerns of rural residents.
Whittier Community Organization to meet
The WCO will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at 606 Bluff Avenue.
All past Whittier PTO members and community members are invited to attend this meeting discussing Whittier Elementary School.
