CASS LAKE - Two men were injured by gunshots during an altercation about 3 a.m. Saturday in Cass Lake, the Cass County Sheriff's Department reported.
The victims, Michael Jones, 25, Cass Lake, and Thomas Jones, 26, Rosemount, were treated at the Cass Lake Hospital.
The sheriff's department reported Michael Jones suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand and left leg. Thomas Jones suffered a gunshot wound to his groin area.
The incident is under investigation.
Assisting sheriff's deputies were officers with the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Pike Bay Police Department and Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force.
