BAXTER - Jake Williams had the only Brainerd goal but the Warriors managed only one more shot on goal in a 2-1 Central Lakes Conference loss to the St. Cloud Tech Tigers Tuesday at Southdale Field.
"We controlled most of the pace of the game overall," Warriors coach Cahil Collins said, "but we weren't very productive when it came down to the final third of the field."
Williams scored at the 58-minute mark, assisted by Chris Nathan.
"Jake brought it up the right side off a good pass from Chris," Collins said. "He cut toward the middle and shot back toward the right-hand post."
Keeper Brian Sexton made eight saves for Brainerd.
