Otters sweep Warriors
Fergus Falls swept the Brainerd Warriors 25-22, 25-11, 25-6 in Central Lakes Conference volleyball Thursday.

Bethany Luckemeyer had six kills and Carlie Kramer had nine set assists for the Warriors.

"We were a couple hitting errors away from taking game one," Warriors coach Jared Diem said. "Games two and three were all about confidence and persevering through bad passing, which we didn't.

"Again, hitting errors and mental errors killed us. We could gain no momentum when we finally sided out because we were so deep in the hole and we would end up having a serving error or a bad play.

"We are young and this was only our second game. I hope people are not thinking we would be this overnight sensation. Look at our record last year (6-22). We have a long way to go as a team and as individual players. Building a program takes time, and I am extremely excited about what I am seeing on the court, but mainly at practice."
