Brainerd blanks Fergus
GIRLS' SOCCER
FERGUS FALLS - Becca Gervais to Kelly Rosenthal was a common occurrence Monday.

The duo combined for three goals to lead the Brainerd Warriors girls' soccer team to a 4-0 Central Lakes Conference victory over the Fergus Falls Otters.

"We didn't pass the ball very well against Elk River (Saturday) so we worked on it and the girls were a lot better today," said Warriors head coach Steve Kimble. "You have to love how quickly the girls pick up on things and how much they are willing to improve."

Rosenthal scored the only goal of the first half.

Stacy Tetreault added the first score of the second half with Rosenthal nailing in the last two.

Cami Anderson secured eight saves for her fourth shutout of the season.
