POLICE BLOTTER Baxter police
DISTURBANCE - Officers were dispatched at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday to Shoreview Drive and then Bass Lake Road for a report of an out-of-control girl who jumped out of a car. The girl was located, transported to detox and given a citation for minor consumption of alcohol. At a residence on the 10000 block of Shoreview Drive officers cited several juveniles for minor consumption of alcohol, and one boy also was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. All the juveniles were transported home or picked up by their parents at the Baxter Police Department.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON - Received a report at 8:42 p.m. Monday of a woman sitting by the stoplights at Highland Scenic Road and Highway 371. It was determined the woman had been involved in a domestic argument in a motor vehicle. She was picked up by a family member.
ARRESTS - Arrested a 38-year-old man for fleeing on foot following a report of a disturbance at 11:02 p.m. Sunday at a residence on the 5000 block of Fairview Road.
A 22-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested after it was reported at 7:03 a.m. Saturday several items stolen from the residence of Ronald Beattie, 10000 block of Inglewood Drive. Some of the property was recovered.
ROAD HAZARD - Received a report at 10:55 p.m. Sunday of shrink wrap across the road at Knollwood Drive and Timberlane Drive. An officer removed the shrink wrap. No suspects were located.
CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 6:24 p.m. Saturday on the 7000 block of Clearwater Road.
No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a deer at 5:45 p.m. Saturday at Wise Road and Dellwood Drive.
No injuries were reported in a three-vehicle collision at 3:59 p.m. Friday on the 10000 block of Dellwood Drive.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 3:23 p.m. Friday at Highway 371 and Glory Road.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Rikki Decent, 5000 block of Laverne Circle, Saturday reported vehicle damaged.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Received a report at 10:37 p.m. Monday of people throwing fireworks off the College Drive bridge over the Mississippi River. Officers confiscated the fireworks and sent two men on their way.
It was reported at 10:59 p.m. Sunday that a black pickup was driving on the 1000 block of G Street with an unsecured load and was dumping items. Officers were unable to locate the pickup but picked up miscellaneous items and swept up broken canning jars, coffee mugs and glasses. All items were later thrown away at the police department.
Officers were dispatched at 10:06 a.m. Sunday for a report of a kidnapping in progress at Kiwanis Park, 1000 block of East River Road. Officers located two women who had called 911 but were unable to confirm that a kidnapping had took place. The incident details were forwarded to investigations for information only.
A man on the 900 block of Blair Circle on Sunday reported seeing a squad car outside his residence about 5:30 a.m. and he was concerned. The man was informed the squad car was more than likely on routine patrol.
Received a report of a burglary in progress at 6:40 p.m. Friday at a residence on the 2000 block of Hillcrest Drive. It was determined the homeowner had locked himself out of his house.
Received a report at 7:05 a.m. Friday of a drunk woman at the Crow Wing County Detox Center, 11810 State Ave., trying to pull screws out of the wall. The woman was advised to stop her behavior.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Claude Fagerberg, 100 block of Kelley Rae Circle, Monday reported his property damaged.
Devin Annable, 1000 block of Quince Street, Monday reported his bike damaged.
Sarah Molash, 1000 block of South Eighth Street, Sunday reported damage to her property.
CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 7:13 p.m. Monday on the 700 block of North Eighth Street.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 12:02 p.m. Friday on the 400 block of West Washington Street.
THEFTS - Chloe Olson, 1000 block of Campus Drive, Monday reported a theft.
Brenda Cash, 300 block of Second Avenue Northeast, Saturday reported the theft of two bags containing miscellaneous items from a detached garage.
Ruben Kort, 800 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast, Saturday reported his vehicle stolen.
Kelly Bevans, owner of Kelly's Garage, 321 Washington St., Saturday reported an air compressor and money stolen from his business.
Hunter Vidmar on Friday reported his bike was stolen from Westgate Mall, 14136 Baxter Drive.
Theresa Erickson on Friday reported her son's bike was stolen from the Brainerd Public Library, 416 S. Fifth St.
ARREST - Arrested a 30-year-old man for first-degree burglary, felony domestic assault and fifth-degree assault following a report of an assault at 7:24 p.m. Friday on the 1000 block of 10th Avenue Northeast.
PUBLIC ASSIST - Assisted North Ambulance with a woman who had her hand caught in a bench at 3:18 p.m. Friday at a residence on the 500 block of D Street.

THEFTS - A gas drive-off was reported Monday at Lake Country Foods and Gas, 40327 Highway 6, in Emily.
Roger Brooks, 40000 block of Peninsula Road in Fifty Lakes, Monday reported fishing lures stolen from a boat.
Joel Huntley, 24000 block of Miller Bay Road in Crosby, Sunday reported theft of items from his boat.
Kathryn Voss, 16000 block of Miller Lake Road in Crosby, Sunday reported the theft of a stereo from a boat.
Nancy Pysick, 40000 block of Peninsula Road in Fifty Lakes, Sunday reported the theft of two fishing rods from his boat.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Alexander Smude, Crow Wing County Roads 2 and 8, Monday reported his buildings shot with paint balls.
Received a report at 12:37 a.m. Monday of four to five kids vandalizing the park on the 21000 block of Crow Wing County Road 3.
James Warta on Monday reported someone was stealing the granite flooring from the old rest area on the 27000 block of Highway 18 in Garrison.
Jeffrey Majerus, 2000 block of Crow Wing County Road 8, Monday reported someone shot paint balls at his cabin.
Bruce Almberg on Saturday reported his vehicle struck by paint balls at Crow Wing County Road 8 and Kelly Lane.
ARRESTS - Received a report of a physical fight between neighbors at 3:06 a.m. Monday at a residence on the 12000 block of Northgate Lane in Manhattan Beach. A 23-year-old man involved in the fight damaged a vehicle and was arrested for property damage. A 38-year-old man also was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Received a report at 7:24 a.m. Sunday of a domestic fight between a couple at a residence on the 22000 block of Poster Lane. Both parties, a 22-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, were arrested for domestic assault and second-degree assault.
Arrested a 48-year-old man for possession of a short-barreled shotgun and reckless discharge of a firearm after his neighbor at 2:03 a.m. Sunday on the 20000 block of Ross Point Road reported he was "disturbed" and is randomly shooting his gun.
SHOOTING COMPLAINT - Received a shooting complaint at 9:24 p.m. Sunday on the 20000 block of Mahnomen Road in Trommald. Deputies located a man shooting at a target. He was informed to do his target shooting during daylight hours.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Dean Smith, 16000 block of McKay Road, Sunday reported debris in his front yard that he believes may be remnants of a homemade explosive device.
Melissa Young, 3000 block of Staghorn Drive, Friday reported her mail scattered in the ditch the last couple of days.
PARTY COMPLAINT - Received an anonymous report of an underage drinking party at 10:51 p.m. Saturday at a residence on the 10000 block of Greenwood Street. Two 21-year-old men were arrested for providing alcohol to people under the age of 21.
PUBLIC ASSIST - Received a report Saturday from a woman who requested a deputy stand by while she was removing items from the house she shared with her boyfriend on the 30000 block of Evergreen Way because her boyfriend said mean things to her Friday. A deputy advised the woman to take someone with her and call the sheriff's department if a problem arises at the house.
BURGLARY - Beverley Norlander, 10000 block of Crow Wing County Road 12, Saturday reported a burglary.
CRASH - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 11:53 a.m. Friday at Highway 371 and Green Gables Road.
