The Brainerd Family YMCA is accepting registrations for youth flag football and soccer leagues for boys and girls in grades K-3.
Both leagues will play Saturday mornings beginning Sept. 19 at Forestview Middle School in Baxter.
Volunteer coaches are needed. Registration forms may be picked up at the Brainerd Family YMCA or from www.brainerdlakesymca.org.

JV boys' soccer loses
Elk River defeated Brainerd 3-0 in junior varsity boys' soccer Saturday.
Brainerd keeper Matt Benson faced 11 shots in the first half with Elk River scoring in the second and 13th minutes. In the second half keeper Thor Linnerooth faced eight shots with Elk River scoring in the 56th minute.
