F. Eleanor Westgaard
F. Eleanor "Ellie" Westgaard, age 90, of Brainerd, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany in Brainerd.
Eleanor was born June 10, 1919, in Burlington, N.D., to Clifford and Gladys Miller. She enjoyed her family very much and loved baking their favorite goodies. She also enjoyed oil painting, gardening and golf.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rhea (William) Gibbons, of Moorhead, John (Sue), of Maple Grove, Deborah (Richard) Koop, of Brainerd; daughter-in-law, Kim, of Big Lake; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; son, James; daughter, Nancy Moe; and great-grand babies.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd with visitation at the church the hour before services.
Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
