The Brainerd Dispatch in Friday's edition incorrectly reported details of a fire on Thursday night at Crosslake Communications.
Crosslake Communications General Manager Paul Hoge said Friday the battery inverters exploded creating a fire that was limited to the inverter box area. No damage was suffered in other parts of the building. The fire suppression system put out the fire by reducing oxygen. No chemical powder was used to extinguish the fire.
The Dispatch regrets the error.
