The Aitkin County Sheriff Department needs help in locating a 67-year-old Aitkin man who has not been seen since early June.
Aitkin County Sheriff Scott Turner said Leroy Keith Boyd was reported missing on Aug. 15 by an out-of-state friend, but he wasn't officially listed as a missing person until Aug. 29.
Turner said Boyd had his own trucking/transporation business and he did a lot of hauling, so it wasn't unusual for him to be gone for extended periods. He said Boyd was known to be gone for a month at a time.
Boyd was last seen in June at an insurance business in Aitkin and Turner said friends and family haven't been in contact with him all summer. Turner said Boyd lived with his adult son, but his son wasn't living with him this summer.

Turner said because of the sketchy information, he couldn't say if Boyd had any conflicts with anyone or if he was depressed.
Turner said at this time he's not ruling out foul play.
Turner said Boyd is about 6', 230 pounds and has blue eyes.
Anyone who had contact with Boyd in the past few months is asked to contact the sheriff's office at (888) 900-2138 or (218) 927-7435. Turner said they are also asking residents to check any property that they own or lease in the area and look for any signs of suspicious activity.
