Crow Wing sheriff

BURGLARIES - Thomas Bahns, 20000 block of Farm Trail, Sunday reported someone broke into his cabin and took bottles of liquor and a chain saw.

Leo Girard on Sunday reported someone broke into his brother's residence on the 10000 block of Robin Street.

Gloria Berg, 20000 block of Farm Trail, Friday reported her residence broken into.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Howard Haworth, 20000 block of Crow Wing County Road 3, Sunday reported damage to his planters and mailbox.

Mary Hagen, 10000 block of Sunset View Lane, Sunday reported someone damaged vehicles parked in her driveway.

Daniel Dunn, 3000 block of Green Gables Road, Saturday reported his windshield broken.

Glen Mann, 20000 block of Crow Wing County Road 4, Saturday reported damage to a window and patio door.

Carol Stanway, 20000 block of Ricks Road, Saturday reported the dead bolt was broken off a door.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a deer at 6:54 a.m. Sunday on Highway 371 and Crow Wing County Road 17.

ARRESTS - Arrested a 19-year-old woman for fifth-degree assault, underage consumption of alcohol and fleeing from a peace officer after receiving a report of an assault reported at 4:30 a.m. Sunday from the emergency room at St. Joseph's Medical Center, 523 N. Third St.

Received a report at 10:40 p.m. Saturday of men breaking into a residence on the 19000 block of Spencer Road. A 26-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree attempted burglary and disorderly conduct.

Arrested a 33-year-old man, identified as an illegal immigrant, after receiving a report of suspicious drug activity at 2:56 p.m. Friday on the 500 block of Washington Street and D Street in northeast Brainerd. The suspect is being held on a Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer and also was arrested for gross misdemeanor providing a false name and date of birth to a peace officer.

THEFT - Andrew Juaire and Andrea Manteuffel, 14000 block of Crooked Lake Road, Saturday reported the theft of tools, pay stubs and car keys.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a deer at 12:51 p.m. Sunday at Beaver Dam Road and Coles Way.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 3:46 p.m. Friday at Laurel and South Sixth streets.

ARRESTS - Arrested a 27-year-old man for felony theft and on two warrants after it was reported at 11:04 p.m. Saturday he stole something from a med room at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, 523 N. Third St., and fled from the building.

Arrested a 26-year-old man for felony probation violation and disorderly conduct after receiving a report of a disturbance at 8:45 p.m. Saturday on the 700 block of Laurel Street.

BURGLARY - Paul Elliott, 1000 block of Mary Street, Saturday reported someone entered his home and took a flat screen television.

THEFTS - Susan Brown, 100 block of Gillis Avenue, Saturday reported the theft of cash from her residence.

Jennifer Hansen, 200 block of North Eighth Street, Friday reported someone stole her vitamins.

Gary Horton, 200 block of North Ninth Street, Friday reported his bike stolen.

Dan Tupy, Edgewood Vista director, Friday reported a theft at Edgewood Vista, 14890 Beaver Dam Road.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON - Received a report at 10:47 p.m. Friday from the staff at Red Roof Inn, 2115 S. Sixth St., of a man in the lobby talking about how he was "once dead." Officers located the man and advised him to leave.

Received a report at 6:15 p.m. Friday of a man urinating on an air conditioning unit behind Tom's TV, 25 N.E. Washington St. Officers located the man and transported him to detox.

Baxter police

ARRESTS - Arrested an 18-year-old man for underage drinking and giving a false name to a peace officer while assisting the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department on an assault investigation at 4:30 a.m. Sunday on the 6000 block of Birchdale Road.

Arrested an 18-year-old man for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and a 19-year-old man for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct, with a charge of second-degree assault being considered, after received a report at 9:39 p.m. Saturday of a disturbance at a residence on the 6000 block of Dahlin Road.

FIRE - Received a report at 3:39 a.m. Sunday of a small fire in the trunk of a vehicle at College Road and Highland Scenic Road. The fire was put out and the vehicle's stereo system was torn apart to prevent further fires.

THEFT - It was reported Saturday a security camera was stolen from Menards, 15236 Dellwood Drive.

A gas drive-off of $29.20 was reported Friday at Holiday Station Store, 7472 Excelsior Road.

Roberta Benson on Friday reported the theft of a checkbook and cash while at Walmart Supercenter, 7295 Glory Road.

It was reported Friday a staff member's cell phone was stolen at Forestview Middle School, 12149 Knollwood Drive. A juvenile student was cited for theft.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Linda Moses on Saturday reported a window broken out of her vehicle while it was parked at Walmart Supercenter, 7295 Glory Road.

CRASH - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle, hit-and-run collision at 3:20 p.m. Friday at Dellwood Drive and Clearwater Road.
