Cecelia A. Grams
Cecelia A. Grams, Brainerd, 88, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Cecelia was born on Nov. 24, 1920, in Lastrup, Minn., to Alois and Anna (Otremba) Barten. She married Clarence Grams on Sept. 28, 1940, in Onamia and they have been married for 69 years next Monday. She loved to sew, quilt, dance, garden and cook and bake for other people as well.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence, Brainerd; her children, Leon (Teresa), Nisswa, Eileen (Bob) Springer, Breezy Point, Sharon (Dennis) Estey, Hibbing; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
Services will be held for Cecelia on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Hans Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Brainerd. Friends may call on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, from 5-7 p.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
