BAXTER - A Becca Gervais goal early in the second half gave the Brainerd Warrior girls' soccer team the only offense it would need in a 1-0 shutout of Fergus Falls in a Central Lakes Conference match Tuesday at Southdale Field.

Gervais' scoring play came off an assist from junior forward Stacy Tetreault and was more than enough insurance for Warriors keeper Cami Andersen, who turned away seven Otter shots to record the clean sheet.
"The girls played so well," Brainerd coach Sara Rojas said. "They fought and clawed all game and really deserved to come out and win. It was a great team effort."
The win extends the Warriors' unbeaten streak to 10 games. They are 8-0-2 in that span and still hold a perfect 8-0 record in CLC play.
Fergus Falls 0 0 - 0
Brainerd 0 1 - 1
First half: No scoring
Second half: Brd-Becca Gervais (Stacy Tetreault) 43:21
