Raiders split in North Dakota COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL
WAHPETON - Lisa Kurtz pounded out 31 kills to go with 46 set assists, 34 digs and five ace serves as the Central Lakes College Raiders volleyball finished 2-2 Saturday at the North Dakota State College of Science tournament.
The Raiders' two losses were to Division II Iowa Lakes and Des Moines Area Community College.
The Raiders defeated Concordia College's junior varsity and Bismark Community College to improve to 15-5 on the season.
"I'd say we weren't at the top of our game today playing with some minor injuries," said Raiders head coach Jane Peterson, "We definitely got what we came for. Bigger, faster hitters to defend and tougher defenders to score against."
Rachel Voeltz added 19 kills, 1 ace serve, and 6 digs and Krista Meyer added 26 kills and 43 digs for the Raiders.
Shayna Foote and Erin Jugasek each tallied 13 kills with Foote adding 30 digs.
