Aitkin Gobblers score another victory GIRLS' TENNIS
WADENA - Kelsey Klucas, Alice Browning and Molly Burman, along with the No. 1 doubles team, all captured first-place finishes to lead the Aitkin Gobblers girls' tennis team to victory at the Wadena-Deer Creek Lions Tournament Saturday.
Emma Reeves and the No. 2 and 3 doubles team of Aitkin finished second to help Aitkin accumulate 32 points, three more than second-place Osakis.
The W-DC Wolverines finished third and were led by Katie Anderson's second-place finish at No. 1 singles. All three W-DC doubles teams finished third.
The Crosby-Ironton Rangers, led by Hannah Christenson's second-place finish at No. 2 singles, placed fourth.

Pioneers split in Virginia
VIRGINIA - The No. 2 doubles team of Kelsey Schlicting-Jenny Gritzmacher won both their matches as the Pierz Pioneers girls' tennis team split its matches at the Virginia Invite Saturday.
Pierz defeated Eveleth-Gilbert 4-3 and lost to Virginia 6-1.
