CROSBY- One might think all Mark Hoge does is catch touchdowns as the junior wide out added three more scores to his season total to lead the Crosby-Ironton Rangers to a 34-28 Great Polar Alliance victory over Braham Friday.
Hoge caught a 65-yard score from Matthew Hudrlik and TD passes of 49- and 3-yards from Derik Midthun. He finished with seven receptions for 151 yards and added an interception as the Rangers held Braham to 275 yards, while they gained 474.
"We are able to throw and run the ball and our offensive line is playing really well," said Ranger head coach Mike Gindorff. "In the second quarter we were able to run the ball effectively and (Braham) committed some turnovers."
C-I rushed for 309 yards and were led by Matthew Hudrlik's 145 yards on 19 carries. Nathan Hudrlik rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries.
