Crow Wing sheriff

CRASH - No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a culvert at 10:31 a.m. Sunday on the 11000 block of Crystal Lake Road.

ARREST - Arrested a 30-year-old man for felony probation violation after responding to a disturbance at 4:28 a.m. Sunday at a residence on the 7000 block of Winter Trail.

DISTURBANCE - Deputies responded to a report of a possible assault at 1:28 a.m. Sunday at a residence on the 10000 block of Hartley Lake Road. The woman reporting the assault was intoxicated and refused assistance from deputies and medical assistance from North Ambulance. The woman said she didn't know why she called and didn't want anything done.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - A woman on the 20000 block of Highway 210 at 5:23 p.m. Friday reported a suspicious man banging on her front door. Deputies, assisted by the Deerwood Police Department, determined the man had run out of gas. He was taken to Deerwood to get what he needed.

THEFT - Jesse Fischer, 10000 block of South Oaks Drive, Friday reported someone used his credit card to buy things online.

Baxter police

CRASHES - No injuries were reported after a vehicle sideswiped a Nisswa Sanitation truck at 11:54 a.m. Monday at Highways 371 and 210.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 9:07 p.m. Sunday at College Road and Douglas Fir Drive.

THEFTS - Joan Larson on Sunday reported her wallet stolen at Walmart Supercenter, 7295 Glory Road.

Roy Rauen, Baxter parks and maintenance director, on Saturday reported a sink stolen at Loren Thompson Park.

ARREST - Received a request at 5:11 a.m. Sunday for a welfare check on a man who'd been sleeping in his car for about an hour at Holiday Station Store, 7472 Excelsior Road. The 21-year-old man was arrested for DWI and charges also are pending for uncased firearm and possessing a handgun without a permit.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Brandon Delahunt and Devan Leger, 7000 block of Greenwood Road, Saturday reported their vehicles had been damaged.

Colleen Alfano, 5000 block of Sandstone Road, Saturday reported her vehicle was damaged while parked in her driveway.

CITATION - Cited a 16-year-old boy for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and gave him a curfew warning after an officer observed him at 1:40 a.m. Saturday walking on the 8000 block of Greenwood Road.

Brainerd police

SUSPICIOUS PERSON - Received a report at 1:34 a.m. Monday of two men following a woman on foot. Officers located the men at South Sixth and Quince streets. The men said they were walking home from the downtown area and that both had been drinking. Officers told the men to quietly return home.

Two men were located at 1:31 a.m. Sunday on the ground in the intersection at South Eighth and Pine streets. Both men were transported to detox.

PUBLIC ASSIST - A woman at 6:41 a.m. Sunday reported she was unable to get out of her bedroom at her residence on the 500 block of West College Drive because the door handle had broken. Officers responded and were able to get management to open the door.

BURGLARY - It was reported Saturday that a shed at Whittier School, 604 N. Seventh St., had been broken into.

THEFT - Patience Filkins, 400 block of South Fifth Street, Saturday reported a bike stolen.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 4:41 p.m. Friday at Northwest Fourth and James streets.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 4:11 p.m. Friday on the 500 block of Northeast Washington Street.
