Wangberg rallies PR-B past Pillager AREA VOLLEYBALL
PILLAGER - Katie Wangberg filled up the stat sheet, recording 39 set assists, 29 digs, 13 kills and six ace serves, to lead Pine River-Backus past Pillager 3-2 in a tight non-conference match Tuesday.
Crysta Christensen tallied 16 kills and 11 digs for the Tigers while Kendra Hamilton pounded 19 kills.
Pillager was led by Bristy Bourgoin's 25 digs and Jackie White, who contributed 11 kills and 11 digs. Emily Doss added 11 digs and 10 set assists for the Huskies.

ST. CLOUD - Alayna Kabanuk and Paige Saulter had 15 and 13 kills, respectively, as the Little Falls Flyers picked up their second Central Lakes Conference win, 3-1 over St. Cloud Tech Tuesday.
After dropping a close Game One, the Flyers bounced back to take the next three although none of them were easy.
"We did a much better job tonight taking care of the ball and running in-system plays," said Flyer coach Becky Abbott. "Paige Saulter had a great night at the net. She played very consistent."
"We also did a much better job on defense picking up the ball."
Defensively, Jessica Hanowski had 14 digs. Lexi Hirsch added 13 digs to go with 39 set assists and four ace serves.
