The Brainerd High School Class of 1933 held its 55th year reunion on Aug. 14 at the Brainerd Country Club. Thirty-seven classmates attended.
30 years ago (1978)
Members of the Brainerd High School a cappella choir grouped into teams, are available for hire for yard work or cleaning. The choir members are raising funds to finance a trip to the national convention of the American Choral Director's Association in Kansas City where they have been invited to sing.
40 years ago (1968)
Contributions are still being accepted to finance the cost of sending ditty bags to area servicemen in Vietnam. The bags being prepared by Red Cross volunteers, will be shipped for distribution at Christmas.
60 years ago (1948)
Earl Mondor, Vogue Supper Club, R.J. Mucherman, St. Louis, and Arthur Hickerson, returned to Brainerd this afternoon from a big game hunting trip into Canada with two moose and three deer.
80 years ago (1928)
¥ Miss Eleanor Nolan returned to her studies at the University of Minnesota.
¥ Russell LaCourse, a student at the Minneapolis Business College, returned to school.
100 years ago (1908)
