Brainerd police

INTOXICATED PERSONS - A 29-year-old man was cited for indecent conduct and placed in detox after it was reported at 2 a.m. Monday he had urinated through the smoking screen and into the bar at Liquor Pigz, 718 Laurel St. The case information was forwarded to the city attorney for review of criminal charges.

Received a report at 10:12 p.m. Sunday of an intoxicated man walking and running into signs at South Seventh and Quince streets. Officers were unable to locate the man.

Officers were dispatched at 9:42 p.m. Sunday for a woman lying in a yard of a residence on the 500 block of South Ninth Street. The 30-year-old woman was transported to detox. Earlier, at 9:34 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 600 block of Southeast 13th Street after it was reported the 30-year-old woman was intoxicated and wouldn't leave.

Received a report at 1:55 a.m. Sunday of a man passed out at South Seventh and Laurel streets. North Ambulance was called, but the 63-year-old man wasn't injured and declined medical treatment. The man was taken to detox.

An officer at 1:35 a.m. Saturday observed a girl walking on the 700 block of Southeast 13th Street carrying a bottle of beer and a Brainerd Public Utilities construction cone. The girl was cited for underage consumption and released to her father. The officer replaced the cone to the 1200 block of Oak Street.

ARRESTS - An officer at 1:15 a.m. Sunday observed two females who appeared to be intoxicated, under the age of 21 and had been in some type of altercation. A 25-year-old woman was subsequently arrested for fleeing and obstructing the legal process.

Arrested a 24-year-old man for third-degree assault at 12:38 a.m. Saturday after it was reported he hit a person in the head with a beer bottle at Liquor Pigz, 718 Laurel St.

WELFARE CHECK - Received a report at 6:09 p.m. Sunday of a woman slumped over her steering wheel in front of the AT & T store, 623 N.E. Washington St. An officer made contact with the woman, who was leaning over while playing with her new phone.

THEFT - Andy Fyock, 1000 block of M Street, Friday reported a fish locator stolen from his boat.

Leigh Troyna on Friday reported her cell phone stolen from the 600 block of West Washington Street.

Baxter police

THEFT - It was reported Saturday a cell phone was stolen from Forestview Middle School, 12148 Knollwood Drive.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Paul Richards, 10000 block of Kenwood Drive, Sunday reported his mailbox damaged.

CRASH - One person was injured but not hospitalized in a three-vehicle collision at 11:48 a.m. Sunday at Excelsior Road and Highway 371.

Crow Wing sheriff

ANIMAL COMPLAINT - Thomas Aderman on Sunday reported he was bit by a dog that he struck with his vehicle at Highway 18 and Three Mile Road.

THEFT - Bradley Gulstad, 20000 block of Mollie Lake Road, Sunday reported credit card fraud.

Crystal Patnoe, 4000 block of Hartley Oaks Drive, Friday reported the theft of a GPS.

INTOXICATED PERSON - Received a report at 3:42 a.m. Sunday of a man yelling that he needed help on the 30000 block of Donaldson Point in Pequot Lakes. A Pequot Lakes police officer arrived and determined the man was drunk and struck in the ditch.

PARTY COMPLAINT - A man in the 20000 block of Crow Wing County Road 3, at 11:39 p.m. Friday reported his daughter and several other kids were partying on his property without permission. Deputies located several juveniles and issued citations for underage alcohol consumption.

Todd County sheriff

PUBLIC ASSIST - William White, 10000 block of 490th Street in Stowe Prairie Township, on Sunday reported he found two pigs at his residence weighing about 50 pounds. He checked with his neighbors and was unable to locate the owners. If anyone is missing the livestock, call the sheriff's department at (320) 732-2157.

BURGLARY - Ray Rochat, 20000 block of 400th Street in Todd County, Saturday reported his residence broken into and power tools valued at $1,100 stolen.

Verndale police

ARREST - On Wednesday a woman came to the Verndale Police Department to complain about someone parking in her parking spot. During the conversation the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. After she was done talking to the officer she left the office walking. A few minutes later the officer saw her driving a vehicle and notified another officer of his contact with her. She drove up to the other officers marked police car and started to talk to him. She was given a field sobriety test that she failed and was arrested for third-degree DWI. Her breath test was more than twice the legal limit to drive.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - On Friday a dirt bike was seen ripping up the alleys behind the police office. The rider was given the choice of a citation or go and get a rake and fix the ruts in the three alleys that he had dug up. He went with the raking of the alleys.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT - On Saturday Verndale officers were called to a garage in the city where a skunk had decided to stay. The owners wanted the skunk removed without it spraying them. The skunk was eventually caught in a fishing net and removed from the city in the back of the owners pickup truck.
