Help sought in arson case near Little Falls; reward is offered
LITTLE FALLS - Morrison County Sheriff Michel Wetzel is asking for the public's help in the ongoing arson investigation at Jason's Casual Dining Club in Little Falls Township.
The restaurant was destroyed by fire Sept. 12. The restaurant had closed at 9 p.m. the night before and no one was in the building at the time of the fire.
After the state fire marshal's office determined the fire was caused by arson, Morrison County sheriff's deputies examined physical evidence and conducted interviews with no firm suspects being identified, the sheriff's department reported.
Wetzel said the state fire marshal's office is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this fire.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the arson hotline at (800) 723-2020 or the sheriff's department at (320) 632-9233.
