Adviser nomination: Yeh has been a member of the Brainerd High School Chamber Orchestra for nine years, the all conference honors orchestra for four years and is a soloist and a concert master with the chamber orchestra. She also has received state level and national awards.
You've played the violin since you were 4. How have you grown with the instrument: I keep learning from experiences as I play. I've learned a lot of details in practice and it teaches me how to pick apart the music. I hear how I play the music and then how to get the sound that I want to play.

What is your goal with the violin: I'd like to apply to either The Juilliard School, The Colburn School or Curtis Institute of Music and see how auditions go. I'd like to go into music performance and play in a chamber group or orchestra.
How often do you practice: 25 hours a week.
First song you learned on the violin: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.
Artist most admired: Scott Yoo, a conductor and soloist from New York Metamorphosen Chamber Orchestra.
Memorable fine arts achievement: Concert master of Minnesota All-State Orchestra as a sophomore.
Favorite composer: Tchaikovsky.
Favorite movie: The Lord of the Rings.
Favorite book: Where the Red Fern Grows.
Favorite band: Coldplay.
Last meal you cooked: I made a homemade pizza with chicken, olives, onions and garlic.
Favorite food: Chipotle chicken burrito.
If you were an instrument, which one would you be: A viola because they get all the attention.
