Pat Bluth (left) and Mary Lou Cody were presented with lifetime service awards Thursday at the Mothers Against Drunk Driving office in Brainerd. Bluth's work began after her daughter, Tammy, was killed by a drunk driver in 1985 and Cody's after the tragic death of her mother, Josephine, in 1981. During the years they have worked to educate, increase awareness and provide understanding to others who have been affected by those who have made the decision to drive drunk.
