Woman dies in Nisswa crash
NISSWA - One person died and four others were injured in a three-vehicle collision about 10:50 a.m. Thursday at Highway 371 and Nisswa Avenue in Nisswa.

The State Patrol said the victim, Dawn McClintock, 67, Backus, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by her husband, Jesse McClintock, 62, Backus. She died at the scene. He was listed in fair condition Thursday night in St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

The State Patrol reported the McClintock vehicle, a four-door Honda sedan, was southbound on Highway 371 and waiting to make a left turn onto Nisswa Drive when it was struck from behind by a van. The sedan was pushed into the northbound lane of Highway 371 and struck by a northbound sedan.

The driver of the van, Roberta M. Luchka, 32, and her daughter, Lark Luchka, 11, both of Pequot Lakes, suffered minor injuries and were treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and released.

The driver of the northbound sedan, Ellsworth L. Miller, 67, Pequot Lakes, suffered non life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Information on his condition was unavailable Thursday.
