James D. Miller
AURORA - Funeral service for James Dennis Miller, 65, of Aurora, will be 11 a.m. Monday in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Aurora with the Rev. Robert Munneke and Chaplin Pat Gillespie officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora.
Mr. Miller died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Fort Bragg, N.C., to Albert K. and Goldie (Tuttle) Miller. On June 12, 1965, he married Rosemary Gould in Deerwood, Minn. James worked for Scorpion Inc. in Crosby for 14 years. In 1977 he began working for Inland Steel and was employed for 27 1/2 years as a material handler.
James was a member of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Assoc., the Virginia Steelworkers Local Union and was an avid gardener, fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; children, Wendy (Scott) Elo and their daughter, Emma, of Rosemount, Ricky (Nikki) Miller and their children, Jamie and Leah of Palo, and Brian (Amy) Miller and their children, Nick and Jennah, of Hoyt Lakes; mother, Goldie Miller, of Hoyt Lakes; brother, Albert J. (Delores) Miller, of Chisholm; sister, Susan (Greg) Faris, of Plymouth; several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert K. Miller, and his grandparents.
