WALKER - Cass County Board will host public hearings during upcoming regular board meetings.
At the 9 a.m. Nov. 18 board meeting at the land department building in Backus, the board will receive comment on changes proposed for the land use, subdivision and platting and environmental definitions ordinances.
Copies of those proposed changes are available from Environmental Services Department at the courthouse in Walker and on the county Web site at www.co.cass.mn.us.
At the 2 p.m. Dec. 18 board meeting at the courthouse in Walker, the board will receive comment on whether the county should offer a special property tax relief for land used to mine for aggregate (gravel).
At the 9 a.m. board meeting at the land department building in Backus, the board will receive comments on proposed changes to the county comprehensive plan. Copies of those changes will be available.
