James R. Bourdon Jr.
James R. Bourdon Jr., of Brainerd, formerly of Duluth, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in his residence. He was born in Chicago on Jan. 28, 1947, to James and Mardelle Bourdon Sr. James was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He had worked for UPS as a driver and at Lexington Manufacturing as a laborer.
He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter, Patience Murphy.
He is survived by his mother, Mardelle (Bourdon) Pond, of Pleasant Hill, Tenn.; son, Aaron (Rebecca Cinicola) Bourdon, of Hadley, Pa.; daughter, Amie Murphy, of Duluth; brother, William (Janice) Bourdon, of Blowing Rock, N.C.; sister Laurie (Fred) Williams, of Anboy, Ill.; and grandchildren, Robert, Andria, Hayley, Chris, Zack, A.J. and Kaleb; and special friends, Gordy, Julie and Noland.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service in Hegstrom Family Funeral Home, Foley Chapel, 5405 Ramsey St., Duluth. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park. Military honors will be accorded by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard.
