Robert B. Dwyer
BAXTER - Robert Byron Dwyer, 65, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at his home in Baxter.
Robert was born in Brainerd on Oct. 3, 1944, to James and Marjorie (Caughey) Dwyer.
Robert grew up in Brainerd and was a 1963 graduate of Washington High School. He entered the Army after graduation and served time in Vietnam.
Robert was a Minnesota sheet metal worker, retired Brainerd volunteer fireman and an avid golfer. He was a member of the Minnesota Deer Hunter Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1647 and American Legion Post No. 255.
Robert is survived by wife, Mary; sons, Keith (Michelle) and Brad (Teresa); grandchildren Sophia, Jack, Cody, Mariah, Leanne and Daniel; brothers, James (Eileen), Joseph (Kathy) and Brian; sister, Lorraine (Dick) Cash; mother-in-law, Helen Reger; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by son, Clint (2007), and his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Brainerd. Visitation will be at the church Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service with interment after the luncheon.
