Quilt raffle raises $2,800

Support our troops took on a new meaning this past summer. Several groups worked together to raise funds to support the veterans, young and old, in the community. With the support of this community they were able to raise more than $2,800 in donations.

Many local citizens and visitors to the area purchased raffle tickets for their chance to win the pledge quilt. Proceeds were shared equally between the Veterans Resource Center at Central Lakes College and the Crow Wing Chapter of the DAV.
