PINE RIVER - Cass County Public Health will host a H1N1 vaccine clinic from 2-6 p.m. Monday in the Pine River-Backus High School commons area.
Clinic attendees are asked to use Door No. 17 at the north end of the commons. Handicapped accessibility is available through Door No. 16.
This clinic is only open to those people who fit the following criteria: All children ages 2-9 years who are healthy and without contraindications to the H1N1 FluMist; people who live with or provide care for infants less than 6 months old, including parents, siblings and day care providers without contraindications to the FluMist who are ages 2-49; pregnant women; and children ages 4-18 who have underlying health conditions, which make them at higher risk for the flu.
Parents or legal guardians must accompany children to the H1N1 clinic in order for them to receive the vaccine. The H1N1 vaccinations are free.
