Police commission to meet
The Brainerd Police and Fire Civil Service Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday at city hall for the purpose of certifying the top three candidates on the current police officer eligibility list and any other business.
Walk-in flu clinics
The Crow Wing County Health Department will offer the following flu walk-in clinics: 1:30 -2 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Horizons Assisted Living, 13631 East Shore Road, Crosslake; 3-3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Breezy Point Resort, and from 3-4 p.m. every day in November except the 27 and 28 at the Crow Wing County Health Department, 204 Laurel St., Brainerd.
These clinics are open to anyone 6 months or older.
Cost is $25 per vaccination or the county health department will bill Medicare Part B, Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare. You must bring your ID card.
