What makes you a good debater: I'm competitive and I like to speak that makes a perfect mix. I also enjoy the research and preparing the topics.
What's it like to take on a leadership role: I don't recognize it when I'm doing it. It feels good knowing that I have an impact on the younger debaters and helping the coach to alleviate stress. I enjoy helping the younger debaters as the older ones helped me when I started in ninth grade. I owe it to the seniors who helped me make it to where I am today.
Your best debate: The (public forum) debate I did at the end of last year during nationals. My partner and I knew we had to win the round and we stepped it up and won.
